Job summary

PHI Health in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Respiratory Therapist with critical care and flight experience to join our life-saving team. You will perform respiratory therapy, document care, and support transport operations across rotor-wing, fixed wing, and ground services.

The ideal candidate holds an active respiratory license, 3+ years in NICU/critical care, current BLS, PALS, NRP, and NCC-CNPT within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Respiratory Practice license.
• Current BLS, PALS and NRP certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of specialized respiratory therapy functions and complex assessments for neonatal patients transported by rotor-wing, fixed wing and ground ambulance.
• Documents appropriate and accurate information for assessment, treatment during stabilization and transport.
• Maintains effective and timely communications between PHI Health management and internal and external customers.
• Completes all annual recurrent competency verifications and maintains required licenses and certifications.
