Job summary

Spring Health seeks an AEO & GEO Lead to own how our brand and content perform across AI-powered search and discovery, spanning B2B and D2C. You will build and run an experimentation engine to improve crawlability, retrieval, visibility, and citation.

You’ll work with web, data and engineering teams to create a repeatable system that scales AI discovery, driving traffic, demand and pipeline while leveraging automation and freelancers as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical SEO or search visibility focusing on AEO and GEO.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered search platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity).
• Strong understanding of how search engines crawl, index and cite content.
• Fluency with structured data, JSON-LD, semantic HTML, site architecture, indexing.
• Ability to run experiments, ship changes quickly and measure impact.
• Ability to brief/manage freelancers and internal experts to ship work quickly.
• Strong analytical judgement; connect discovery performance to pipeline outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Spring Health’s AEO/GEO strategy for B2B and D2C audiences.
• Test content and technical changes to drive AI visibility and citation.
• Monitor crawl/indexing by major AI and search platforms.
• Collaborate with Web/Engineering to improve data, schema and site structure.
• Own onsite/offsite content discovery and experimentation surfaces.
• Extend visibility across third-party platforms influencing AI discovery.
• Maximize long-term discovery value of priority content and leadership.
• Ensure AEO/GEO standards across digital content ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain AEO scorecard linking to traffic and pipeline.
• Leverage AI to speed up research, content creation, testing and analysis.
• Act as company-wide expert on AEO and AI discovery.
• Collaborate across teams to translate expertise into AI-findable content.
