Job summary

Giftogram is seeking a Content Editor & AEO Strategist to optimize how our content performs across AI helpers and traditional search. You’ll decide what content to publish, ensure factual accuracy, and demonstrate impact on pipeline, working with sales, marketing, and customer success.

This role emphasizes editing, structuring, prioritizing, and measuring outcomes over drafting, with responsibility for an end-to-end content function and alignment to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content, editorial, or SEO roles with outcomes accountability
• Hands-on experience with answer engine or generative engine optimization
• Portfolio of before-and-after work to show for it
• Comfort using AI tools in editorial workflow
• Fluency with CMS and analytics tools (HubSpot, GA4) and at least one SEO/AEO tool

Responsibilities

• Edit pages for accuracy, clarity, structure, and voice; kill weak pieces and restructure strong ones
• Own editorial standard, style guide, and QA checklist
• Verify product, pricing, and compliance claims against internal sources before publication
• Own briefs, templates, tooling, and process turning questions into publishable pages
• Track AI citation share and referral traffic; report monthly on outcomes and changes
