Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role requires a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating, and current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

You will transport patients with a qualified team and ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance. On-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule are offered, plus a $15K sign-on bonus and retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
• 2,000 total flight hours are required.
• 1,500 helicopter hours are required.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours are required.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours are required.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch as described in manuals and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following change-board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
