Job summary

Global Medical Response invites applications for a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport with Air Evac Lifeteam. The role supports critical patient moves on a 7/7 schedule, with a $15K sign-on bonus and retention bonuses on eligibility.

Qualified applicants must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, instrument rating and FAA Class II Medical, with thousands of flight hours across helicopter and turbine operations. On-duty housing is mentioned as a benefit.

Qualifications

• Hold rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Maintain helicopter instrument rating and a valid Class II medical.
• Accumulate substantial flight hours across total, helicopter, PIC and turbine categories.
• Meet weight and night flying requirements as specified.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a team of medical professionals.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with manuals and FARs.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Support shift changes and update change boards per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear
