Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The position offers a competitive salary with a 20% geographic modifier, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, retention bonuses, and on-duty housing.

The schedule is a 7/7 rotation, supporting critical care flights. Responsibilities include coordinating with medical teams to safely transport patients, ensuring aircraft readiness, maintaining regulatory documentation, and collaborating with dispatch and flight

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours with 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours and 500 Turbine Hours.
• Night time flight experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals, FARs and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following change board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities


• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteamrequirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties


• MaintainaccurateAEL and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping


• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners


• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails


• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
