Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role requires a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, and substantial helicopter flight hours.

A $15K sign-on bonus and retention bonuses are offered, along with on-duty housing. The pilot will work with a team to safely transport patients, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours required.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours preferred.
• 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from locations/facilities as part of a medical air transport team.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FAR and company requirements and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following change board protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
