Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for Air Evac Lifeteam's customers. Join a team focused on safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care in a demanding air medical environment.

Qualified candidates will hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate with instrument rating, a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate, and substantial helicopter flight hours.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch as described in manuals, including FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary range $110,949 - $122,044 including 25% Geo Modifier
• $15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
