Job summary

Techno is seeking a Billing & Accounting Specialist to support our accounting operations in Princeton, NJ. This full-time role handles client invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related accounting functions within our AEC environment.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of billing experience, proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and MS Office, and a strong attention to detail to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
• QuickBooks knowledge required.
• AEC/project-based billing and invoicing experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process client invoices for engineering and construction projects.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Process accounts payable and vendor invoices.
• Review contracts, project information, and supporting documentation for accurate billing.
• Reconcile billing, payment, and accounting records.
• Work with project managers and internal teams on billing requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end accounting activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed.
