The role emphasizes customer service and accurate data handling. The ideal candidate has 3+ years invoicing in the AEC sector, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office, QuickBooks, and Ajera.

Qualifications

• 3+ years invoicing/billing in the AEC industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with clients
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Ajera preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and assist with processing client payments and AR transactions.
• Create invoices according to policy; submit to clients.
• Maintain and update client files, including changes and mailings.
• Draft past-due correspondence; identify delinquent accounts and contact holders for payment.
• Prepare and maintain internal client account status reports for AR meetings.
• Research client invoice discrepancies.
