YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You manage the daily operations of the store as needed. You motivate and train associates, drive sales results, and embody our company values by bringing your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Passion for driving sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through exceptional in-store experiences, and support Store Leadership in achieving KPI results.
- People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team, serve as a role model, and ensure associates meet AEO's service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, and focus on training and developing associates to maintain outstanding service and a Guest First culture.
- Teamwork: You set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, motivate, and celebrate performance to foster engagement and success.
- Visual & operational innovation: You execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards, ensuring the store is guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Integrity: You maintain store safety, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow AEO policies, and always do the right thing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for AE and Aerie products
- Previous retail management experience
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, priority-setting, and time management skills
- Business acumen
- Flexible availability to work when guests shop
