Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking a Manager for our national Advisory practice. The role offers flexibility to travel for specific projects and involves managing client relationships while delivering consulting around technical accounting and financial reporting services, including complex GAAP & IFRS work and other engagements.

You will lead projects, coordinate with teams, and contribute to audit readiness and financial statement preparation for public filings.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Three or more years of experience in audit, controllership, or consulting services in a public accounting firm or industry environment.
• Proven experience and interest in technical accounting matters.
• Exposure to the month-end close or quarterly reporting process.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to plan and lead a project end-to-end.

Mansioni

• Assist with financial close and improve close processes.
• Assist with cash-to-accrual accounting and opening balance sheet prep.
• Assist with audit readiness.
• Lead technical accounting projects on topics like ASC 606 and ASC 805, IPO/SPAC matters.
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, reconciliations, and audit schedules for public filings (10-Q or 10-K).
