Maher Duessel is seeking Advisory Managers to join our firm in Pittsburgh. Advisory Managers supervise engagements, bridge the needs of partners, clients and engagement teams, and uphold high technical standards.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule with minimal out-of-town travel, a collaborative environment, and opportunities to develop staff while expanding relationships in government and non-profit sectors.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/graduate degree in accounting or CPA-qualifying education.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Government and non-profit experience preferred.
• CPA preferred; CGFM, CFE, CITP encouraged.
• Minimum 1 year as Advisory Supervisor.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and networking.
• Strong time-management and teamwork.
• Ability to supervise, train, and develop staff.
• Integrity and adaptability with travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop people by encouraging independence and ownership.
• Delegate work to all staff levels.
• Provide performance feedback and evaluations.
