Job summary

Maher Duessel is seeking Advisory Seniors to join our firm and lead advisory engagements with minimal supervision. You will direct and review work, make decisions on accounting and advisory matters, and present complex issues to senior engagement management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or sufficient coursework to qualify for CPA licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Government and non-profit experience preferred.
• CPA preferred; other relevant certifications encouraged.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent project management and ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work on advisory engagements; inform supervisors of engagement status.
• Develop and manage staff through delegation, feedback, and evaluations.
• Foster a team-oriented work environment and promote client service.
• Use technology to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Build strong client relationships and monitor client satisfaction throughout the year.
• Adapt engagement approaches to client needs and changing environments.
• Understand client financial reporting requirements and prepare management reports.
