Job summary

Truist is seeking an in-office Financial Advisor Services Assistant to support Financial Advisors at the McLean, VA location. You will handle client servicing, order entry, and data management using SalesForce, while coordinating schedules and preparing client communications.

The role requires strong telephone and organizational skills, familiarity with securities markets, and FINRA licenses. This is a full-time on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and related training.
• Experience in the securities industry or a sales assistant role.
• Knowledge of securities markets and brokerage accounts.
• Familiar with annuity products and sales support.
• Licenses: FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 (partial licensing considered).

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Advisors in servicing clients and preparing financial plans.
• Receive and place orders; answer market queries and trading features.
• Process corporate actions requiring licenses; manage client data in systems.
• Schedule appointments, generate meeting agendas, and handle administrative tasks.
• Manage the advisor’s calendar; maximize appointment productivity.
• Identify sales opportunities using internal leads and market knowledge.
• Provide operational guidance and ensure new account paperwork is filed.
• Authenticate high risk transactions and maintain client security.
• Maintain professional environment and support branch needs.
