Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an Advisor Program Manager to provide leadership, mentorship in project management tools, and communications to multiple stakeholders across MSPs and related projects. The role emphasizes cost estimation, risk management, and strategic direction in a multi-site environment.

The successful candidate will guide control account managers, influence senior leadership, and ensure effective integration of management tools and reporting across the PMI organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• PM principles: development of tools or processes applicable to projects.
• PMP or NNL Project Management Certification required or preferred.
• Familiarity with Naval Reactors DOE Order Implementation Bulletin (IB) 413.3-109, DOE Order 413.3B, and the Critical Decision process.

Responsibilities

• Mentor control account managers on estimating costs and uncertainties, and identifying, quantifying and managing risks and opportunities.
• Partner with the senior leadership team to develop and influence key communications for a project audience.
• Provide leadership in communicating project performance data to audiences internal and external to the projects.
