Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an Advisor Program Manager to lead major projects within the PMI subdivision, shaping strategy, communications, and risk management across MSPs such as SFHP and NEAP. The role requires strong project leadership, deep NNPP experience, and ability to mentor control account managers and senior leaders.

You will manage the management reserve methodology, translate data into actionable insights, and collaborate with Naval Reactors personnel to ensure program success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, functional expertise, and mentorship in project management tools and applications.
  • Mentor control account managers on estimating costs and uncertainties, and on identifying, quantifying, and managing risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and influence key communications tailored to audiences.
  • Communicate project performance data at detailed and high levels; serve as the 'conscience of the project' based on NNPP experience.
  • Support strategic direction for individual projects and the department as a whole.
