Job summary

Job Description: Learning & Development Coordinator - US Cornbelt Region

This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Learning & Development for Retail and supports the learning needs of Nutrien’s Retail business in the US Cornbelt Region. The position involves developing and executing a comprehensive learning strategy to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, fostering a strong learning culture and continuous professional growth.

Candidates may work remotely in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, or Illinois.

What you will do :
  • Support the Retail Learning & Development team, focusing on the Cornbelt Region and assisting with initiatives in the East, South, and West Regions.
  • Coordinate regional training initiatives and assist with national training programs.
  • Develop strategies aligned with regional and national business goals for Nutrien Ag Solutions.
  • Identify training needs through stakeholder engagement and needs analysis; develop and implement appropriate training solutions.
  • Deliver training both virtually and in person, adapting facilitation styles to engage participants effectively.
  • Utilize and coordinate resources such as regional subject matter experts and external consultants for training delivery.
  • Coordinate with regional training staff to ensure consistent training offerings across the geographic footprint.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of regional training initiatives and facilitate their implementation across other regions.
  • Use talent analytics to track trends, measure progress, and demonstrate training ROI.
  • Maintain and utilize the learning management system for online courses, registration, reporting, and analytics.
  • Promote a safety culture by actively contributing to a safe work environment.
  • Travel up to 30% to various locations to support training programs and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will bring :
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources, education, adult education, agriscience, or the agriculture industry.
  • Previous training facilitation experience across various topics such as leadership development and sales effectiveness is preferred.
  • Experience advising leadership on learning initiatives to address training gaps is preferred.
  • Internal candidates may be considered in lieu of formal education or experience requirements.
