Job summary

Regent University seeks an Advising Team Coach in Virginia Beach to lead coaching for school advisors and drive performance against metrics. You will monitor data, review calls, and provide real-time guidance with the Director to ensure weekly goals are met.

You will develop targeted training, analyze performance gaps, and deliver feedback in one-on-one and group sessions, while modeling Christian professionalism and Regent’s values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ months in Enrollment Management or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to coach and motivate a team to meet performance metrics.
• Ability to remain level-headed in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Advising Team Coach is responsible for assessing and coaching the school advisors’ performance to meet key performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis. This is executed by data monitoring, reviewing recorded calls, and real-time coaching throughout the day. In partnership with the Assistant/Associate Director, the Advising Team Coach ensures team members contribute to school-specific goals assigned by university leadership.

Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Salary: $45,000 annually

Essential Duties

• The Advising Team Coach is assigned a specific team of Advisors to coach and hold accountable for their performance goals.
• Trains him/herself in program knowledge, system knowledge, and best practices in customer service and Advising. Then he/she develops training presentations and activities to help Advisors grow in these areas.
• Analyzes data, identifies performance gaps, and provides feedback to Advisors in real time and in routine one-on-one meetings.
• Documents daily, weekly, and monthly feedback to team members to demonstrate a well thought out plan of action and individualized approach to leadership.
• Prepares additional training for the team and models professional standards that will bring the team to a higher level of Christian professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required
