Location: Nebraska-based remote (preferred)

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Salary Range: $59,805 – $70,054 per year (Base + Commission)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Flexible hours

Job Summary:

Nebraska Life Magazine is hiring an Advertising Sales Director to lead advertising growth across our print, digital and event platforms. This role involves managing client accounts, developing outreach strategies, and building long-term relationships with Nebraska businesses and organizations.

If you have strong communication skills, sales experience, and a passion for Nebraska’s people and places, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and build relationships with Nebraska-based advertisers
  • Create and present custom advertising proposals
  • Manage full sales cycle – from outreach to closing to account management
  • Coordinate ad deadlines with editorial and production teams
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and track sales performance
  • Participate in campaign planning, forecasting, and strategy
  • Assist with advertiser distribution and collections as needed
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, advertising, media, or business development
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and customer service skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Familiar with CRM tools and remote work platforms
  • Knowledge of Nebraska business and community landscape is preferred
