Indianapolis Business Journal is seeking an Advertising & Sales Operations Specialist in Indianapolis to optimize order management, trafficking, and reporting for our advertising and sales teams.

You will coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely execution of campaigns, maintain CRM accuracy, and deliver client-facing insights and revenue analysis. A proactive, organized professional thrives in a fast-paced media environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude with CRM or sales management tools and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented team player who anticipates needs and addresses issues.
• Understanding of marketing fundamentals and ability to interpret digital metrics.

Responsabilités

• Manage and traffic 75+ digital campaigns; support print/TV/radio/podcasts; coordinate with sales/production.
• Monitor delivery, identify discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution with internal teams.
• Compile monthly client reports, analyze metrics, and identify actionable insights.
• Maintain CRM accuracy; assist with advertising order processing and inventory management.
• Maintain master account list; process claims and manage sales routing.
• Prepare weekly sales reports, revenue projections, monthly digital product reporting and budgeting.
• Track client trade agreements, usage, balances, and fulfillment of contracts.
• Assist the Director of Advertising and Sales with analysis, leadership reporting, budgeting, and priorities.
• Develop advertising sales and marketing presentations and maintain promotional materials.
• Identify process gaps, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements proactively.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide responsive operational support.
