Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our Service team during peak seasonal periods, helping keep owners on the move and vehicles ready for adventure. This entry point provides hands-on experience aimed at developing toward a Service Technician role.

The role offers exposure to three core areas—vehicle operations, production support, and training—across Rivian’s service network with opportunities to grow through structured programs and mentorship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous technical experience or adjacent technical industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong desire to learn and adaptability are essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory; maintain vehicle readiness; manage lot and key control; keep a clean service center environment.
• Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic repairs; learn to use basic hand and power tools under supervision; maintain tool and equipment readiness.
• Training & Career Development: participate in TRAIL program; receive mentorship and on-the-job training for Service Technician role; complete RLN modules; explore long-term career path.
