Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Adventure Readiness Specialist to join our Service team during peak seasonal periods, on the front lines to ensure Rivian vehicles and owners stay ready for adventures. This entry point provides hands-on learning focused on preparing you for a future as a Service Technician.

Responsibilities span Vehicle & Site Operations, Service Production Support, and Training & Career Development, with a clear pathway through TRAIL and Rivian Learning Network modules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous technical experience in automotive, mechanical, electrical, or adjacent technical fields is highly preferred.
• A strong desire to learn and adaptability with a hands-on mindset is important.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and no suspensions/revocations in the past 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory; maintain vehicle readiness through washing, detailing, and charging; manage logistics and key management; keep the service center safe and organized.
• Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic repairs, focusing on PDI tasks and Express Lane work; learn to use hand and power tools safely under supervision; maintain tools and equipment readiness.
• Training & Career Development: participate in the TRAIL program, receive mentorship, complete RLN modules, explore a pathway to a Service Technician career, and provide cross-functional support as needed.
