Job summary

Rivian seeks an Adventure Readiness Specialist in Franklin, TN, with temporary relocation to the Nashville area until the new location opens. You will support Rivian Service during peak seasons, helping our team maintain vehicle readiness and ensure owners’ journeys stay on track.

This role offers a hands-on, development-focused entry point with mentorship, TRAIL program participation, and RLN modules to prepare you for a future as a Service Technician.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred.
• Previous technical experience (e.g. automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work) highly preferred.
• Strong desire to learn, adaptability, and passion for hands-on work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and clean record.
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to see/read technical documents and interact with customers/partners.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle & Site Operations: receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory; maintain vehicle readiness through washing, detailing, and charging; manage vehicle logistics and 5S-compliant site.
• Service Production Support: assist technicians with basic repairs, learn to use hand and power tools under supervision; support workshop tool readiness.
• Training & Career Development: participate in TRAIL program, receive mentorship and RLN modules, explore path to Service Technician, provide cross-functional support as needed.
