Job summary

Stanford University School of Medicine’s Adventure Programs seeks a Coordinator for Outdoor Experiential Programs to oversee outfitting, logistics, and fleet operations for student-led trips and SPOT orientation. The role involves coordinating food, equipment, and transportation, plus staff development in a dynamic campus recreation setting.

You will help manage program resources, support course facilitation, and ensure safe, high-quality participant experiences across weekend and orientation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Preferred demonstrated experience with outdoor education field programs and/or campus recreation/outdoor education, leadership, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outfitting and logistical preparation for weekly outdoor programs and SPOT trips.
• Coordinate vehicle orientation sessions for authorized program drivers and driver authorization processes.
• Coordinate recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and ongoing support of student and contingent personnel.
• Support development, delivery, facilitation, and assessment of Team Development Course programs and related facilities.
• Support inventory management, quality control, staff training, and equipment maintenance for Outdoor Center operations.
