Job summary

Blackberry Farm in Walland, TN, is seeking a Front of House Guest Services Associate to welcome guests, manage activity bookings, and coordinate dining times. You will maintain guest records, assist with gift shop sales, and ensure a memorable stay.

A high school diploma and strong communication are required; a valid driver’s license is needed and hotel front-of-house experience is preferred. This position is on-site at Blackberry Farm.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre-arrival emails and calls to book activities, spa services, and dining times.
• Acts as a primary contact for guests and answers questions during their stay.

• Creates memorable experiences for guests and assists with merchandise sales.
• Restocks Gift Shop floor and monitors inventory.
• Uses POS, inventory systems, Excel, Word and Outlook effectively.
• Reviews traces daily and coordinates with other departments.
• Audits spa bookings to ensure accuracy.
• Communicates guest information to team members.

The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre-arrival emails and calls before guest arrival to book activities, spa services, and schedule dining times
• Be a point of contact for guests to inform them of special happenings during their stay and to answer any questions they may have
• Gathers and tracks guest information and preferences by maintaining the guest database
• Creates unique memorable experiences for our guests
• Knowledge of merchandise and ability to assist guests with sales
• Restocking Gift Shop floor as needed
• Solid computer and software knowledge: POS, inventory systems, Excel, Word, Outlook
• Assist with monthly inventory of shops, storage areas, and satellite retail locations
• Review traces daily and confirm information with other departments
• Audit activity and spa bookings to ensure accuracy
• Communicate accurate guest information and preferences to other team members and departments
• Monitor website content to ensure accurate event information is posted

Must comply with all company policies and procedures. To perform the essential functions of this position, regular and consistent attendance is required. Must be able to work well with other team members and interact with our guests.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Hotel Front of House operations experience preferred

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
