Job summary

North Carolina Central University seeks an Assistant Vice Chancellor for Advancement Services to lead the operational backbone of fundraising, alumni engagement, and donor stewardship. You will ensure data integrity, security, and governance across the division’s systems and processes, driving efficiency and compliance.

You will oversee gift administration, analytics, reporting, and performance management while partnering with finance and IT to enable strategic decisions for the university’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and eight years of advancement services leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing information systems, financial compliance, reporting, and donor relations.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex operations.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in higher education advancement or nonprofit philanthropy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct administration and security of the advancement CRM and related technologies.
• Develop governance and standards for data and access controls.
• Lead system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
• Oversee gift processing, reporting, and compliance activities.
• Develop dashboards and analytics to support fundraising strategy.
• Supervise Advancement Services staff and foster cross‑university collaboration.
