Job summary

Quinnipiac University seeks a strategic leader to serve as Associate Vice President for Advancement Services, overseeing systems, data, and processes powering fundraising and alumni engagement.

You will lead information systems, donor reporting, and research, ensuring data-informed decisions. The role emphasizes collaboration across Development & Alumni Affairs to advance fundraising goals and ensure compliance with CASE and IRS standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in fundraising and alumni support services management including data/gift processing
• Expert knowledge of Colleague Advancement or a similar fundraising system
• High proficiency with query languages and database structures
• Ability to learn new systems and how they interface
• Experience with donor research and prospect management tools
• Strong Excel skills and data reporting capabilities
• Knowledge of CASE standards and IRS rules for charitable giving
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide reporting and data needs as the department's primary systems/data analyst
• Lead database policies, system implementations, and data integrity efforts
• Oversee gift administration, reporting, and donor acknowledgments
• Manage donor relations and fund management, ensuring stewardship of gifts
• Support prospect management and track fundraising progress across stages
• Supervise data entry and document imaging staff and prioritize data projects
• Train staff in data system usage and troubleshooting
