Job summary

PSU Foundation in Portland, OR seeks an AVP of Advancement Data & Technology to lead strategy, systems, and analytics powering fundraising and engagement.

This hands-on leadership role directs data governance, BI, CRM, and IT operations, partnering with executive leadership to align technology with fundraising priorities and operational efficiency, while developing staff and driving data-informed decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, information technology, data analytics, or related field.
• Eight years of progressively responsible leadership experience in fundraising, advancement services, data management, BI, analytics, or related function.
• Five years of people leadership experience managing technical or cross-functional teams.
• Four years in a fundraising, advancement, or nonprofit environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, CRM platforms, and cloud-based tools; ability to leverage emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and priorities for data, analytics, reporting, systems, and technology aligned with fundraising and organizational goals.
• Lead data governance, data quality, system integrations, and IT operations across the Foundation.
• Oversee enterprise reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level insights.
• Partner with Executive Leadership and University stakeholders to drive data-informed decision making.
• Lead change management and staff development within the Data & Technology team.
