Transdev in Portland, OR is seeking a Training Specialist to coach trainees in communication, job readiness, safety standards, and skills development through in-car and classroom sessions. You will track performance, provide constructive feedback, and determine readiness for skills assessments while helping build a robust training program and materials to promote road safety and driver confidence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving on public roads.
• HS Diploma or GED required; four-year degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum 3 months operating and testing autonomous vehicle.
• Proficiency with a laptop and GSuite apps and touchscreen smartphones.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel up to 30%.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain Transdev’s high standard of safety inside and outside the vehicle.
• Deliver classroom sessions and training presentations weekly for new hires and upskilling.
• Act as a mentor, providing career or academic guidance when applicable.
• Answer questions and provide resources for further learning.
• Onboard new hires with a professional, positive attitude and effective training.
• Standardize and maintain consistent training practices across the organization.
• Assist in creating and maintaining a training program and materials.
