Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Trailer Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repair on trailers and equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, and ensure compliance with SRT and warranty guidelines.

Responsibilities include mentoring trainees, participating in OE training, and upholding safety standards while communicating with customers. A sign-on bonus is offered for a limited time.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with 2 years in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of DOT/FHWA inspections experience.
• Able to supply basic tools or purchase via toolbox program.
• Willing to work outdoors and across shifts, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment per SRT and warranty guidelines.
• Troubleshoot issues and complete work orders to meet company standards.
• Mentor trailer technician trainees and participate in OE training.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain professional communication with customers.
