Job summary

Benchmark is seeking a Test Technician in Minnesota to support debugging and test processes in manufacturing. You will perform debug/test assemblies, maintain testers, and train test operators, while collaborating with engineering and leadership.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement and adherence to security policies. Required are a 2-year engineering/technical degree (preferred) and 5+ years of related experience, plus strong communication, analytical, and schematic-reading abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test or manufacturing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of Test Measurement and Debug Techniques
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics

Responsibilities

• Performs debug and test assemblies to component level
• Performs tester maintenance and upkeep
• Troubleshoots operator problems and trains staff
• Communicates problems to Test Engineer and/or leader
• Supports continuous improvement activities (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
