Benchmark Electronics is seeking a Test Technician to support and debug test processes in manufacturing. The role involves performing debug/test assemblies, maintaining testers, and assisting in root cause analysis to improve product quality.

The candidate should have 5+ years of experience, strong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills, and be able to train and support test operators while adhering to security policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test and debug roles.
• Ability to train diverse groups and communicate effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs debug and test assemblies to component level using diagrams and schematics.
• Maintains testers and equipment.
• Collaborates with leadership to troubleshoot operator issues and drive improvements.
• Trains and supports Test operators.
• Reports problems to Test Engineer or leader.
• Supports failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Identifies equipment needs with leadership.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Follows security policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Works on problems of moderate scope with data-driven judgment.
