DJ&A, a multidisciplinary professional services firm, is hiring a Survey Technician in Albuquerque, NM. The role supports Registered Professional Surveyors with ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, and topographic surveys, drafting easements, legal descriptions, and construction staking.

You will process field data in Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D, produce basemaps, coordinate tasks with office and field crews, and help ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of land surveying experience required.
• Experience with ALTA surveys and boundary analysis.
• Ability to draft and prepare legal descriptions and plats.
• Proficiency with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with LiDAR data processing preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with field crews and office staff.

Responsibilities

• Process raw field data in Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
• Produce basemaps with AutoCAD Civil 3D for production.
• Coordinate multiple survey tasks and project teams.
• Collaborate with field crews and office staff.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and survey service standards.
• Assist with metes and bounds descriptions and cadastral surveys.
• Prepare staking information from engineering plans.
