Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks a skilled Surgical Technician to support surgeons during operations, maintain sterile technique, and help ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and contribute to perioperative care in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires formal surgical technology education, 3–5 years of experience preferred, and active CSFA/CSA/SA-C certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Technical School/2 Years College / Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology or board eligible for SFA certification.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• CSFA/CSA/SA-C certification is required and maintained.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeons with exposure, hemostasis and other technical functions for safe operations.
• Attends to patients’ direct care needs under RN supervision.
• Demonstrates dexterity and professional conduct per hospital policies and state law.
• Maintains and follows clinical pathways and quality standards during procedures.
