Qualifications

• Must have typing, filing and computer skills.
• Experience in Outlook, Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules surgery, office and ancillary department appointments.
• Completes prior authorizations and referrals.
• Coordinates with departments, physicians' offices and patients regarding procedures.
• Provides administrative and secretarial support to surgery staff.
• Handles database management, record keeping and calls.
• Assist with clinical coding and patient billing as needed.
