Qualifications

2-5 years of commercial structured cabling experience.
Strong experience pulling, terminating, dressing, and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
Experience in commercial environments such as healthcare, schools, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, or data centers.
Fiber optic installation or termination experience is a plus.
Experience with access control or CCTV is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pull, route, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
Install and terminate fiber optic cabling (termination experience preferred).
Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, ladder rack, basket tray, J-hooks, and cable pathways.
Build out and organize MDF/IDF closets.
Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling using Fluke or similar testing equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cable schedules.
Assist with installation of access control, CCTV, and other low voltage systems as projects require.
Maintain clean, organized work areas while following OSHA and customer safety requirements.
