Job summary

Next Level Technician is hiring a Low Voltage Cable Technician in Winston-Salem, NC. The role includes pulling and labeling CAT5e/CAT6, testing with Fluke testers, and wiring jacks for data and voice within commercial/industrial settings.

You will install racks, patch panels, and cabling for CCTV, access control, AV, and fiber systems. Travel regionally is expected, with weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
• Structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to job sites within the region/state as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts
• Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems

Requirements

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks
• Willingness to travel to job sites within the region/state as needed
