Job summary

Next Level Technician in High Point, NC is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling to install and terminate CAT6/CAT6a, label cables, and test runs at commercial sites.

You will read blueprints, install racks and patch panels, and support access control, CCTV, AV, and fiber systems across North Carolina with safety-focused work. Weekly pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience required.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
• BICSI, Lift and OSHA certifications are a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE, willingness to travel in NC.

Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling | High Point, NC

Earn $22–$27/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6a cable
• Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts
• Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems

Requirements

• 2+ years commercial/industrial low voltage experience
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Working knowledge of telecom/data networks
• Willingness to travel to job sites within North Carolina as needed
