Job summary

Next Level Technician is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Technician for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Earn $20-$30/hr based on experience, with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow within a national leader.

Travel to various job sites and work on CAT5e/CAT6, CCTV, access control, and fiber optic projects. The role requires 2+ years of low voltage experience, knowledge of telecom networks, and a readiness to travel; certifications (BICSI, Lift, OSHA) are a plus.

Qualifications

2+ years of commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.
Willingness to travel; some assignments may require being away up to one month.
Reliable, professional, and motivated to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers.
Punch down voice and data jacks.
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
Work safely on ladders/lifts and be comfortable with heights.
Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts.
Install and support structured cabling, access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems.
Travel to various job sites as needed.
