Job summary

Energy Support Services is seeking a Field Service Technician II - Solar to perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting at solar sites in and around Faribault, MN. This in-person, outdoors role requires relocation or commuting to the Faribault area.

You will operate safely in high-voltage environments, guide junior technicians, and progress toward Technician III as you gain experience. Solar knowledge is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of hands-on technical work in any industry.
• Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.
• Able to work outdoors on solar sites, unsupervised.
• Willing to relocate to Faribault, MN.

Responsibilities

• Lead field safety and wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform lockout/tagout as worker or field lead.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance of solar energy systems.
