Job summary

Pearce Renewables is seeking an Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) to perform on-site O&M at solar plants near Cantua Creek, CA. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance, safety, and reliability in line with company standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in solar O&M, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and may work weekends or on-call. Local travel up to 25% and residence within ~50 miles of Cantua Creek are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Commercial/Industrial O&M experience on solar power plants is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and installation skills.
• Experience with inverters, tracker systems or sub-station equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
• Document work orders, time logs, inventory, and safety schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical components with digital meters and related tools.
• Operate and maintain vehicles per safety policies and insurance requirements.
