Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a fast growing company in Santa Clara CA to hire several Tech 3 Level Server Repair Technicians for temp-to-hire roles, Monday to Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with overtime. Responsibilities include advanced server repair, diagnostics, and documentation of actions.

The role requires strong server architecture knowledge, Linux familiarity, and the ability to read schematics; HS diploma or equivalent with server hardware certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical server certifications preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting servers using shop-floor tools, spreadsheets, email, and ticketing systems.
• Experience replacing hardware components and configuring servers.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn continuously.
• Good verbal and written communication for accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and diagnose servers to identify hardware failures.
• Replace defective parts and advanced server components.
• Conduct server stress tests to validate performance.
• Document symptoms, diagnostics, tests, and part replacements in the shop-floor tool.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with MB repair teams, testing, QC, and whole-unit repair.
• Provide backup support for QC, inspection, and other teams.
• Maintain tracking and usage of parts consumption.
• Follow processes for system and parts management.
