Job summary

Employee Magnets is seeking a Server Repair Tech to test, troubleshoot, and replace faulty parts on servers sent for diagnosis and repair. You will inspect and diagnose hardware, conduct stress tests, and document test results and parts replaced in the shop floor tool.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and technical certifications; experience with server configuration and Linux commands is a plus. The role requires collaboration with repair teams and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical experience preferable.
• Certifications in server support and architecture desired.
• Experience troubleshooting and replacing parts on servers.
• Good written and verbal skills; needs to document errors and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, diagnose servers and replace parts as needed.
• Document symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool.
• Collaborate with MB repair, motherboard testing, QC, whole unit repair, and inspections teams.
• Provide back up for QC, inspections, and motherboard testing; maintain parts consumption.
• Support process improvements and inter-team collaboration in warehouse operations.
