Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for per diem night shifts (7p–7a) in Olympia Fields, IL. The RCP II will perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care across age groups.

Qualifications include an active RCP license, NBRC RRT within 3 months, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP within 60 days, ARC/ Cross, and 2 years of acute care experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• NBRC RRT certification or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• BLS certified from the AHA or American Red Cross.
• ARC Cross certification upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS from the AHA or ARC certification upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS from the AHA certification upon hire and maintain current or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• NRP certificate upon hire and maintain current or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of acute care experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with attention to age-specific needs.
• May serve as Lead RCP on shift and oversee department during shift.
