Resurrection Medical Center in the Chicago metro area is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner I for night shift. The role involves performing respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics under physician direction, with lead responsibilities in the absence of supervision.

Full-time, non-exempt position offering a sign-on bonus and competitive benefits. Requires active RCP license, NBRC CRT, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; two years acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NBRC required.
• BLS certification required on hire and current.
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire and current.
• PALS certification within 60 days of hire and current.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate required within 60 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document care with patient age/population considerations.
• May act as Lead RCP in absence of supervisor.
