Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist on a full-time night shift to deliver comprehensive respiratory care under physician orders. You will serve as a key resource for physicians and nurses, ensuring therapy effectiveness and patient safety.

Includes a $20,000 bonus for RRTs and rotation to NICU duties. Requires CoArc-approved program graduate, NBRC RRT credential, and current RCP licensure. PALS may be required in ER settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• PALS certification required for ER staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff.
• Train on and rotate to NICU assignments.
