Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver prescribed respiratory care, including oxygen therapy and ventilator support, across patient care areas. You will monitor, document, and adjust therapies with the care team.

Requirements include AMA-approved Respiratory Care training, RRT or equivalent, and state licensure. Strong critical care experience preferred; 36-hour work weeks with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery methods and related equipment.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and explains purpose and effects.
• Performs diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical and non‑invasive ventilation.
• Evaluates current therapies and recommends care plans.
