Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer to join the Actuation Systems team in Tempe. The role focuses on creating design solutions for electromechanical actuation systems across aerospace, participating from concept to end of life.

The position reports to the Sr. Engineering Program Manager and offers hybrid work with an initial 90‑day onsite start at the Tempe site. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of aerospace project engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 2 years of project engineering experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering project execution to help achieve technical, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Responsible for project planning, scheduling, risk tracking, and performance reporting.
• Support the design, development, integration, testing, and validation of electro-mechanical systems.
• Support requirements analysis and verification activities to ensure customer and program needs are met.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including test procedures, reports, analyses, and design records.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate test data and technical findings to project stakeholders.
• Lead efforts in troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
• Support hardware builds, qualification testing, and product validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, quality, and program management.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to support project deliverables and schedules.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and assume increasing responsibility as experience grows.
