Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Sr Advanced Project Engineer to lead complex aerospace programs from concept to delivery. You will report to the Sr Systems Engineering Manager and work on a hybrid schedule, onsite for 90 days.

This role requires strong project planning, requirements management, and cross-functional leadership, with experience using DOORS, PTS, SAP, EVMS, and model-based development. Travel up to 10%.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 5+ years of customer technical requirements management using formal tracking systems (DOORS, PTS, ClearCase).
• 5+ years developing CPCS / ECS aerospace systems.

Responsabilidades

• Engineering Project Planning & Management using MS Project, SAP, WBS, EVMS.
• Lead development through full lifecycle using IPDS or equivalent processes.
• Develop SOWs for engineering teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports and executive presentations for reviews.
• Manage Phase Gate & Compliance through PECA artifacts and gate exit deliverables.
• Support proposals, cost estimation, and project forecasting.
• Maintain IMS performance metrics (SPI, CPI, EV).
• Communicate project status and risks to leadership and customers.
• Lead model-based design, MATLAB/Simulink simulations, and system verification.
